Mark Augenstern

Mark rejoined Polaris in 2022 to help build the Strategic Acceleration Group within the Polaris Growth Fund. He previously spent three years on the PGF team focused on later stage tech investments.

Prior to rejoining Polaris, Mark spent over two years at Cityworks, a former PGF portfolio company, as Director of Strategic Finance & Business Operations. While at Cityworks, Mark helped guide the company to its successful acquisition by Trimble.

Mark began his career as an M&A analyst at Harris Williams & Co. in the tech group in Boston. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in Economics.

Outside of the office, Mark loves to ski and is a committed Boston sports fan.
